How Competition is driving the Cloudera towards New Big Data Solution?

With an increasing focus on the digital transformation, the next logical step for major enterprises is organizing, storing, and analyzing all the data that is captured. Getting the tools to gain the required insights assist in delivering the required traction. Cloudera that is has been one of the leading innovators in the big data has been speculative in the field with the growing focus to gain market share. Companies are still the majority in the early stage of big data analytics, which means that it’s too early for the users to determine what use cases, offering, and architecture offerings will be one of the long term winners.

Cloudera in 2019 didn’t have a pretty strong start, unlike its other competitors.  To make the data as a transformative tool, we are greatly investing in the storage and use of data from IT investment; companies will also need to improve the architecture to support the massive amounts of data. Companies have often used Hadoop; two of the top four Hadoop providers are using Cloudera and Hortonworks are benefiting from the next stage of transformation. Hadoop, MapReduce, and data lakes are some of the common buzzwords relating to big data, while Hadoop is perfect for storing data taking way the need of bigger investments that business is making for the last several years. Although other tools such as CRM offer the analytics capabilities, Hadoop offers much imperative analytics abilities such as cross-application or cross-department analytics.

Cloudera which recently signed a deal with Hortonworks said in a statement that the new Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) is all set to deliver the public cloud service later during the year. The offering with public cloud along the private cloud is all set to bring public cloud like experience directly into the data center for the enterprise customers.  Using the Cloudera data platform, the existing customers will be able to easily extend the current HDP and CDH data center deployments to native cloud service in two of the most popular public cloud services AWS and Azure.
